The medigration PraxisPortal is an image distribution software for medical DICOM images and findings. Via the Internet, the operating practice can use it to provide its referring doctors access to the images and findings (optional) released on the PraxisPortal server. The images can thus be viewed from any Internet-capable computer with a standard Browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari), without any time-consuming installation. The referring practices only have access to the examinations that you make available.
 

Highest data security and performance

The highest data security requirements are applied to the transferral of personal data. With PraxisPortal, every file is therefore encoded before transmission with a 128-bit key in accordance with AES (Advanced Encryption Standard). Thanks to the combination of loss-free data compression and incrementally loadable image resolution, a data reduction of up to 75% can be achieved. Complex series of images can thus be displayed within a few seconds (depending on the speed of the Internet connection). This reduces transferral times to a minimum.

The main principle 

A modern network of radiology practices, external referring physicians and emergency and/or home work stations uses the existing infrastructure of the internet. With webConnect, you can send encrypted images or findings to any number of recipients via a highly secure and reliable server. The recipients can then download the data in their own time. Your inbox and outbox can be used for the quick and easy administration of the relevant transfer data. Setting up access to a VPN is not necessary. Therefore you can save additional costs! The only requirement is having conventional DSL access to sending and receiving pages or using an UMTS stick (especially suited for emergency findings).

In every work place connected to the network, medigration ImageWeb allows you access quickly and easily images within the healthcare facility. All basic functions for viewing images and results (windowing, zoom, inverting, rotation, annotation) are available in a quality you would expect.
